This is a collection of music that has been expanded upon and fleshed out from what originally started as some simple ambient tracks to accompany my latest audiobook, "A Sleep Story." As the book details my struggle with a chronic sleep disorder, this isn't an album to necessarily put you to sleep as the music alternates between soothing and disturbing and discomfort. It's meant to capture some of the experience of both falling sleep, lying awake, and the many disconcerting in-between states of consciousness that arise with chronic sleep deprivation.
