about

This album is a compilation of songs recorded between 2010 and 2016, with most in 2012 and 2013. I've put together this new collection as most of these songs were released publicly before I had the proper technology to master the tracks. Thus I've gone into the archive and remixed and mastered these songs to make them sound like new.

In putting these songs together, I've collected more of my "alternative rock" style tracks, and as any fan will easily be able to tell, many of the songs are strongly influenced by the alternative sound developed by The Cure - driving drums and bass, layers of atmospheric guitars and keyboards, and a sense of mystery and the beauty of the darker side of things. The album starts off strong and dark, and lightens up some as it goes along. The effect is to take the listener on a powerful journey into the depths and heights of sonic expression.

Instruments on this album include: 6 and 12 string guitars (in 3 different tunings), mandolin, harmonica, synths/keyboards/drum programming, and didjeridu.

I hope you enjoy these newly mastered and remixed songs, and invite you to go into my back catalog and compare these versions to the originals to hear the dramatic difference in sound quality.
