about

My newest album, "The Fate of Miraanni - The Soundtrack", was created to provide musical accompaniment to the audiobook of Volume II of "Tales of Aurduin".

As an album, it can definitely be enjoyed as a stand-alone artistic work and one need not have any familiarity with the fantasy series to enjoy these powerful musical creations. Like the story, the songs are big, dramatic, sweeping, heroic, and profound. As there are many different characters, cultures, and settings and events in the story, these songs reflect this in their diversity as they relate to different events happening to different characters at different points of the story. Given the importance of singing, chanting, song, and male and female voices in the stories, these elements are all incorporated into the songs.

Let your imagination guide you! Though the songs are not in the order in which they appear in the audiobook, they are arranged here to tell their own story and take the listener on a beautiful and profound journey. Let the rich textures and rhythms sweep you away and create your own story to go with it - or get the audiobook or the novel (in paperpack and ebook) and read along. However you choose to enjoy this album, I hope you find this to be a satisfying and rewarding evolution of my ongoing musical journey of creative exploration.
