After three years of neglect, I'm back into making new tracks with my 12 string guitar. So here's what I'm working on at the moment now that I've changed the strings and got it tuned up to DADGAD. For this collection, I'm emphasizing the guitar and alternative rock sound with less emphasis on electronic instruments and using "real" sampled drums rather than creating electronic beats. My goal is to do all the guitar parts with the 12 string (yes, it's acoustic-electric), and also fit in mandolin when it works. The concept is that this collection will sound more like a "band" with a more limited range of instruments and sounds, and rock - like, you know, hard :)
